Josh Mansour has spoken out against his former coach at the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Jason Demetriou, criticising the coach for the way in which he communicated during his tenure at the Rabbitohs.
Mansour said in The Bye Round podcast that “they did not have a good rapport” and there were numerous circumstances where the coach did not live up to his word.
Mansour highlighted that he was unaware he would be leaving the Rabbitohs until the coach presented a video farewelling each of the departing players – it was during this video session that Mansour was first made aware of his impending departure from the club.
The Rabbitohs have started the 2024 season without a win and Demetriou faces immense pressure to turn the Rabbitohs fortunes around.
