Sam Burgess, an esteemed alumnus of the Rabbitohs, has given off hints to the South Sydney executives that he is interested in occupying the position of head coach for the UK-based Super League’s team, Warrington Wolves, by the conclusion of this season.
Warrington have commenced initial talks with Burgess regarding the lead coaching position for the upcoming year and he is currently a preferred candidate for this role.
The South Sydney Rabbitohs have been enduring an unexpected slump since round 11. Among all NRL teams, only the Wests Tigers have fared worse.
