Enthusing about Justin Morgan, Webster stated, “Morgo is a sterling coach.”
Having worked under Morgan in England for half a decade, Webster wished him nothing but success.
The team are certainly going to feel his absence, yet that is the nature of rugby league. People tend to migrate and seize differing opportunities.
“Morgs expressed a desire to relocate back to Australia for personal reasons, a decision we fully support,” added Coach Webster.
Morgan’s love for his time with the Warriors has been vivid, and so has been his influential contribution. “As he departs, it isn’t under strained circumstances; we part on very positive terms,” said the coach.
The football manager of North Queensland, Micheal Luck, stated that the 2024 coaching staff of the club would be publicised at the end of the current season.
In light of Dean Young‘s departure, Justin Morgan is rumoured to join the Cowboys‘ coaching team. Allegedly, North Queensland has settled on poaching Morgan from the Warriors as a forwards coach on a three-year contract, starting in 2024.
When approached for a comment, Micheal Luck declined to confirm the appointment but conceded that Morgan is an exceptional coach who would unquestionably enhance their team.
Morgan started his coaching journey in France before accepting the position at the helm of the Hull Kingston Rovers in the Super League, a post he retained for six years before heading back to Australia.
In 2016, Morgan joined the Warriors, from where he went on to assist the Kiwi international men’s and women’s teams.
